'Quicopt' service &lt;https://quicopt.com&gt;: state the decisions,
the objective and the constraints, and the service finds the
best decision. The model is sent to the service, so no solver
needs to be installed. Uncertain data, such as demand or
prices, is described by probability distributions or taken from
the rows of a data frame, and the model can then minimize an
expected cost, guard against bad outcomes, or require a
condition to hold with a given probability. Decisions that are
an ordering or an assignment, such as a delivery route, can be
stated directly.</description><link>https://github.com/r-universe/quicopt/actions/runs/38730288307</link><pubDate>Thu, 15 Oct 2026 09:46:08 GMT</pubDate><r:package>quicopt</r:package><r:version>0.7.0</r:version><r:status>success</r:status><r:repository>https://quicopt.r-universe.dev</r:repository><r:upstream>https://github.com/Quicopt/quicopt-r</r:upstream><r:article><r:source>stochastic.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>stochastic.html</r:filename><r:title>Deciding before the data arrives</r:title><r:created>2026-09-01 19:31:27</r:created><r:modified>2026-10-14 09:28:27</r:modified></r:article><r:article><r:source>deliveries.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>deliveries.html</r:filename><r:title>Deliveries, fees and teams</r:title><r:created>2026-10-13 14:24:20</r:created><r:modified>2026-10-14 09:28:27</r:modified></r:article><r:article><r:source>quicopt.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>quicopt.html</r:filename><r:title>Get started</r:title><r:created>2026-10-05 08:54:44</r:created><r:modified>2026-10-15 09:46:08</r:modified></r:article><r:article><r:source>permutations.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>permutations.html</r:filename><r:title>Orderings and assignments</r:title><r:created>2026-10-05 08:54:44</r:created><r:modified>2026-10-14 09:28:27</r:modified></r:article></item><item><title>[cran] quicopt 0.1.1</title><author>t.bode@fz-juelich.de (Tim Bode)</author><description>Author an optimization model — including a model under
uncertainty, with random variables, expectations, conditional
value at risk and chance constraints — in a native R interface,
and solve it with the 'Quicopt' service &lt;https://quicopt.com&gt;.
Models are encoded to the service's wire format and solved
remotely; no solver is installed locally. Random variables
carry distributions or empirical scenario columns taken
directly from a data frame, so observed history becomes a
stochastic program in one call.</description><link>https://github.com/r-universe/cran/actions/runs/38619802487</link><pubDate>Wed, 14 Oct 2026 11:10:08 GMT</pubDate><r:package>quicopt</r:package><r:version>0.1.1</r:version><r:status>success</r:status><r:repository>https://cran.r-universe.dev</r:repository><r:upstream>https://github.com/cran/quicopt</r:upstream><r:article><r:source>stochastic.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>stochastic.html</r:filename><r:title>Deciding before the data arrives</r:title><r:created>2026-10-14 11:10:08</r:created><r:modified>2026-10-14 11:10:08</r:modified></r:article></item></channel></rss>
